Views: The sweeping view of this property looks west over the mouth of the Arthur River across the rugged expanse of the wild southern ocean. Every evening the sun sets over "Australia rock", a jagged outcrop standing in the middle of a washing machine created where river flow meets ocean waves. Early explorers were so in awe of this sight they named it "the edge of the world", and now tourists travel the globe to see it.

        But that's just the start of the views. This property has a 180 degree north facing water view panorama stretching from west across the ocean, to north over the river mouth inlet and grassy sand dunes, then back up the Arthur river to the east. The view includes the town's picturesque bridge and tour boat jetties, as well as forested stretches of the mighty Tarkine wilderness.  Each year the winter floods float mammoth fallen forest giants (blackwood, myrtle and Tasmanian oak) down the river past the property, then out into the sea to be later washed up onto the beach as massive driftwood logs. Some have a habit of using words like "magnificent water views" too often.
